About Indra Soundar Rajan
He was born in Salem and lived in Madurai. He wrote some 340 novels and 700 short stories. He also directed more than a hundred TV serials. His tales cover the paranormal, reincarnation and divine intervention.
Many of his stories drew on true incidents from Tamil Nadu. His Marmadesam is among the most successful Tamil TV shows. His film Sringaram won National Film Awards recognition.
